This was a pleasant surprise! This is beautifully renovated motel. I love that it still has some of that retro charm, but the modern updates make it feel so fresh and clean! The check-in was super easy, too as they provide you with your room number and a code.

The motel is only a short distance to Wilson's Prom so it is an excellent base to explore the region. I also love that there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster in the room and since the hotel is close to IGA, you can make your own breakfast.

Love the update, cleanliness and location, so we will be coming back here.

A beautifully renovated Motel - stunning new modern decor but with a fresh and playful colour scheme. Location was incredible , right in the middle of town - Foster is gorgeous and has everything you need . Room we stayed in was 2 doubles and we had our 2 teenage daughters with us . Possibly would be a bit small if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room , but perfect for us as we were out and about the whole time . Highly recommend .

We recently stayed at the newly renovated Wilsons Prom Motel and were genuinely impressed. The renovations have been done beautifully — the rooms feel fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed while still fitting perfectly with the relaxed, coastal feel of the area. Everything was spotless and well maintained, with comfortable beds and quality finishes that made the stay feel a step above what we expected.
The location is ideal for exploring Wilsons Prom, and it was great to come back to such a comfortable space after a day of walking and sightseeing. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a calm, well-run vibe.
A fantastic upgrade and an excellent place to stay — we wouldn’t hesitate to book again and happily recommend it to anyone visiting the Prom.

Such a lovely motel. We were well looked after by the staff at reception who helped accommodate us late at night after a storm came in whilst we were camping. Nice bed, showers and lots of amenities like microwave and kettle. Would highly recommend

Such an impressive change to the motel! We stayed here Dec ‘24 and then again Nov ‘25. We were so impressed with the improvements and how wonderful the room was. Very clean and comfortable room with a great look and feel. Would definitely recommend.

The most modern/ beautiful/ clean / well designed motel I've been to in Australia.
Can't recommend enough.
Almost feels like a four star hotel room.
Definately will recommend others and would stay here in future while visiting Wilson's promp.

We've had a great stay at the motel.
- Check in and out was super easy. Instead of using a key/ card to get in your room, the place uses a number lock which they provided the code to you during check in. We had a late check in, which was also an easy process by informing them about this earlier where they send us the code via text instead.
- Room was recently renovated. It's spacious, modern and clean. Comfy pillows and beddings. Spacious bathroom as well
- Inside the room has everything we need. Hair dryer, kettle, microwave, toaster, iron, capsule coffee machine (capsule peovided), coffee, tea, 2 pack of milk, shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc.
- Parking is right in front of our room
Overall a very pleasant stay!

Nice place and great accommodation. 1 star deducted because the refrigerator was too loud. If you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs with you.

If you're there just to spend the night then this could be a good option given the budget. The location is good.

PS: Don't expect anything fancy even if you have to pay a premium during peak season.

Had a great experience. Rooms are slightly dated, but the staff is really nice. Highly recommend it if you are planning to go to wilson prom. You can get a decent deal generally under 250 per night and most Wilson's prom locations are under 1 hour drive. All food options are walkable distances. IGA was 50 mts from the motel. Enoguh parking for the guests. Do try if you are coming to Wilson's prom. Biggest plus is the EV charging spot right next to the motel.

We had an incredible experience at the Wilsons Promontory Motel! The rooms, bathroom, and kitchen were spotlessly clean, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The standout, however, was the receptionist—she was nothing short of amazing.

Our decision to stay at the motel was a last-minute one, and when I called, the office had already closed. Despite this, she went above and beyond by reopening the office, checking the availability, and accommodating us in a beautiful and impeccably clean apartment. Her kindness and willingness to help felt like the work of an angel.

I absolutely recommend this motel to everyone. If you're looking for excellent service, clean facilities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to stay!

It is our first time in this motel and our experience was far from the previous negative reviews. I also learned it is recently under new management. The check in and check out was smooth. We got room 20 which has 2 rooms, though the unit is old and can see stains on the carpet and couch, I can say it was thoroughly cleaned. Towels and beddings were new and stain free, bed was comfortable. Extra beddings in the cabinet if required. Never saw any bugs like what others experienced. The kitchen pots might require updating but thats very minor. We dont have a designated parking but you can park anywhere. The place is also near the centre!
